Rush For Tender Coconut Once the Crisis is Over

Day 17/21

While we are so engrossed thinking about the present,

no body has the nerve to think about life post quarantine,

when things will finally get back to normal

What felt like normal earlier has now become synonymous with "a long way to go."

All hope is not lost!

We are all down and distraught.

There's no one out there who doesn't want their Pre-Corona life back.

Life was busy, we were swamped!

But it still was something!

Let's not talk about the present at all...

No point sulking about it!

Logic should be drawn out straight- when quarantine becomes harder, think about post-quarantine.

Think about the time when Corona will be out of this land for good and that also without a proper farewell.

Think about the time when the survivors restored to health and like heroes will talk about their fight against the black swan.

Let's not focus too much on what will become of economy and the world.

Focus on tender coconut.

Someone has rightly said, "I would walk miles for tender coconut:)"

Doesn't matter in what form,

tender coconut can make your day.

It's strange that quarantine fever falls upon the head like an enormous burden

But the craving for tender coconut just doesn't allow it to reign supreme.

Yes, coconut still has the upper hand in this war.

It's strange that I am missing the days when I would set aside all my work at the office for a while

and step out, walk a little to relish my favorite drink in the world.

It wasn't just about the coconut.

It had almost become a habit;

An inseparable and integral part of my everyday functioning.

They say too much of everything is bad.

Tender coconut is indifferent to all that.

"It looks good only in the books and your creative writing papers," said the coconut.

It's funny how a coconut can make you do anything to make sure that it reaches you in time.

And the day it cannot establish a connection,

it sends you those tiny, mushroom-shaped flashbacks,

reminding you that the tender is 'you'

and the coconut is 'corona-

Hard yet breakable and beatable
